I am passionate about uplifting the voices of marginalized communities and improving access to high-quality mental health care.
My Journey
I have a decade of comprehensive experience in cross-cultural mental health research/care and a Master of Social Work in Medical and Psychiatry. I also have certifications in clinical research ethics, leadership, design thinking, developing standard operating procedures, and project management. My expertise encompasses patient-oriented research, stakeholder engagement, mixed methods research, data analysis, web-based surveys, using evidence-based science, and knowledge translation, alongside a commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI).
My goal is to enhance health and education outcomes through collaborative and innovative practices. In addition to roles as a Qualitative Data Analyst, Scientific Peer Reviewer, and Graduate Student Instructor, I co-founded and led Students Advocating For Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (SAFE) within McGill's Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, consistently championing EDI principles and practices.
